Chapter 8 - Beneath the Siberian Sky

Siberian Village

Items: Antidote, Mysterious Item, Mechanic's Tool, Silver Chalice

Speak with Theodor in the lower right to learn about his witnessing an adventurer going to the North Mountains. Go above him and inspect the snow next to the snowman for an Antidote. Head to the right exactly and inspect the snow ledge for a Mysterious Item.

Go up to the weapon shop in the middle and purchase a Drum Machine Gun for Pad and Fairy Wand for Fiona. Go to the armor shop on the left and buy Woolen Skirt and Tidal Gloves for Fiona and Iron Helmet for Eddie. Go up behind the armor shop and go inside the fence and inspect the lumber on the right for a Mechanic's Tool.

Enter the house on the northwest area and inspect the tree on the upper left for a Silver Chalice. If you're not too lazy, go back to Saint Petersburg to appraise the new Mysterious Item you just found. Right now, you should have a few gadgets already. I equip Eddie with Golden Scarab and Infinity Gear, Pad gets the Crystal Gem and Scroll of the Dead, Melody gets the Scroll of the Dead and Fiona gets the Dalmanites' Stone and Aquamarine Gem. Personally, you can set it to anything you want, but Golden Scarab on Eddie is probably a must seeing he can provoke the enemies and he does the most damage for a regular attack. Level up Eddie's Thunder Blade to level 2 and Provoke to Level 4, Melody's Flanma to Level 5. Now time to go to the next destination, Siberian Base. When you're out of the village, just steer north and you'll find it right in front of you.

Siberian Base

Enemies: Ice Elemental, Snow Tiger, Gear, Snow Hand, Mechball, Cabal Combatant

Upon entering, you'll be in a multiple airship battles. I'd say the best strategy is to Support Shot and attack normally (plus healing if necessary). Scarlett will come to the rescue and help. Apparently her sister, Astell lost her life at the hands of Roswell. She will join the party and assist very well! She does pretty good damage and she's not slow either (if only she can be permanent *sighs*). Level up Melody's Frost to Level 5.

Chapter 8b - The Battle at the SB

Siberian Base Airship Port

Items: Super Heal Leaf

Head to the upper left corner for a Super Heal Leaf and head up (or go around to complete the map... Don't be a lazy bum).

Siberian Base 1F 1st Sector Passage

Just keep going up to another floor.

Siberian Base 1F 2nd Sector Passage

Items: Flame Staff, Dragon Head Plans

Go up and head to the left for a Flame Staff. Equip this on Fiona. This time, head to the right and pick up Dragon Head Plans. Go to the door at the north and open it to go up the elevator.

Siberian Base 2F Monorail Station Platform 1

Go down and right to get on the train.

Go left and up and you might wanna go down the stairs to complete the map.

Siberian Base 2F Lab Sector Great Lab

Just keep going up and you'll be in a cut scene.

Siberian Base 2F Lab Sector Lab

Items: Cabal Gun, Metal Vest

When you go in, a guy will appear. It's... GILBERT! He calls Fiona to come to him and then as Scarlett tries to stop her, it was too late. Apparently, it was a girl transforming into Gilbert! (I wish I have that power!). Apparently, it was Astell (Scarlett's sister) who she thought was dead. Astell then teleported and took Fiona with her. Now it's your job to rescue her (again..). Go to the upper right corner for a Cabal Gun and equip it on Pad (this works real good on some enemies here). Go to the left for a Metal Vest, also for Pad. Go up to enter another room.

Siberian Base 2F Lab Sector Passage

Go up and then right to go down the stairs. Go down and inspect the red light to stop the fan from spinning. Go down and right for an Ice Brand for Eddie. There is also a korol on the lower left, it's a bit hidden but you can see its ear flailing. Talk to it for any assistance. Go up to where you stop the fan and go inside it.

Siberian Base 2F Inner Air Duct

Items: Silver Chalice

Go up and then right and open the chest for a Silver Chalice. Go down, left, down, right and then down to enter another screen.

Siberian Base 2F Monorail Station Platform 3

Items: HP Shard

Go to the left and up for an HP Shard. Go down and right to ride the train.

Siberian Base 2F Monorail Station Platform 4

Go left and up to another room.

Siberian Base 2F Elevator Hall

Go up and you'll notice there's 2 doors on the left and right. Opening them would make you fight 3 Cabal Combatants. This would work well, seeing there is a Save Point just on the door in the north. However, would you be willing to level up a lot without Fiona? That's up to you. Once you're done, go to the door in the middle to go up the elevator.

Siberian Base 3F Passage, Control Room

Go up and you'll see a Save Point. Save or heal and you can go back to level up in that room if you want, or just go up. I leveled up where Eddie/Pad are level 22 and Melody Level 21. If you do the same, level up Eddie's Provoke to Level 5, Knight Heal to Level 4, Thunder Blade to Level 3, Wild Rush to Level 5 and Spiral Arrow to Level 3, Pad's Speed Boost to Level 5, Escape Run, No Trace, Treatment to Level 3, Melody's Aeria, Grounda, Magic Shield and Life Drain to Level 5.

Siberian Base 3F Control Room

Go in and first you'll see a wall with Roswell's picture in it (*vomits*) and then you'll see Fiona on the chair with Astell and Roswell in front of her. Apparently, they were using Astell for her power and not killed her. Roswell will later show the stone slab or tablet saying it's "the Gate to the Heavens". He needs Fiona to use it and Eddie gets mad and fights him. Dang, how'd he get so huge?! (PLOT HOLE! XD)

Start up with Pad using Break Shot to lower Roswell's DP. Eddie should start with Overdrive (which will increase greatly with Level 5 Overdrive!) and attack with Combo Attack (massive damage!). Melody can use Flanma and use Life Drain if she gets attacked to make up for her lost HP.

Once the battle is over, Roswell will go through that disbelief crap that he was beaten and such. Astell being the evil girl that she is, does not want to help him and leaves. Scarlett will try to catch up after her. Roswell is planning to do something, but someone is stopping him. It's... GILBERT! This time, it's the real Gilbert... I think. He noticed the girl first before his own son XD.

Roswell gets really pissed and activates the self destruct and the base is being collapsed. Eddie and his group almost in their soon to die moment... Shirley comes to the rescue with an airship! She rescues them all and brings them to the airship with her.
