Chapter 20 - Chase After Damocles

Gilbert starts to apologize to Eddie for involving him in this situation. Eddie of course denies the apology because he's glad that he took it. They finally spot Damocles and the tablet was already being used. The gate to Asgard is opened and the Cabal's flying fortress, Paracelsus appears and attacks Damocles. Eddie, being the nice guy that he is decides to help those traitors.

There are actually 3 arcs and the Paracelsus. Pad should use Smoke Shot. Melody should use Aurora Cannon. Fiona should use Miracle Blast. Eddie should use Limit Excel. The next turn, everyone should do the same except Fiona should heal if she needs to, if not she should cast Guard Shield. Fiona should use Anti-Defect if necessary as well. When all the arcs die, Pad should use Support Shot while Fiona/Melody use Orb and Cannon.

Once beating Paracelsus, it will land another attack on Damocles. However, they both succeeded on entering Asgard. Eddie and his group follows them while Gilbert stays behind. Once Eddie and his group enters the gate, they'll be in Asgard. Which... seems peaceful.

 

Chapter 20b - Asgard

Asgard

Fly forward and you'll see Land of Korol right away. Land on it.

Land of Korol

Items: HP Shard, Full Mechanic's Kit, Warp Stone, Mysterious Item

It's a village full of korols! They have normal stores like usual. The weapon, armor, items and inn. Buy all the weapons and items for everyone. Stock up on necessities; Mega Heal Bottles, Mega Heal Leafs, Silver Chalice, Earth Jewel. Rest for the night. If you're broke from buying the Holy Grail, sell all the old armors/weapons that you had.

Once you're done, head southwest and inspect the plant for an HP Shard. Head northeast to the tree for a Full Mechanic's Kit. Check the tree above it for a Warp Stone. Inspect the boxes in front of the inn for a Mysterious Item. Leave the village.

Asgard

Once you're outside, you're free to map the world, it's not big. When you're done, approach the noticable tower with an aura around it (you can't miss it). It's north of Land of Korol.

Apparently, the Tower of the Sun is being guarded and the three guardians need to be defeated for the barrier to go down. They are those small statues near the tower. Head north of the Tower of the Sun and approach the small statue.

Once beating Dike, the wall of light in Tower of the Sun will disappear. You can finally enter the tower now.

 

Chapter 20b - Tower of the Sun

Tower of the Sun

Upon entering, the party will encounter Carlos. Carlos tells the party that Fogg already went inside. Whoever takes possession of the tower will be able to control the power of the Ancient Father, which is the sun and Fogg is using it to destroy the world.

Tower of the Sun Square of the Sun

Enemies: Thanatos, Giant, Lesser Dragon, King Daemon, Soleil, Flying Rod, Pteraquatl, Tenebrae, Arc Angel

There's nothing much to do except the map the place and head inside.

Tower of the Sun 1F Corridor of Lost

Items: Hat of Darkness

Go up and you'll see two transporters. Use the left one and go south to pick up Hat of Darkness for Melody. Head back up and use the left transporter.

Tower of the Sun 2F Corridor of Eternity

Follow the way and you'll see a switch. Press it and head back to use the transporter.

Tower of the Sun 1F Corridor of Lost

Items: Eterna Plate

Use the transporter on the right to go back to the main room and use the right transporter to teleport to the east side of the room. Head down to pick up Eterna Plate for Eddie. Head back up and use the transporter on the right.

Tower of the Sun 3F Corridor of Chaos

Head up and press the switch. Go northwest and use the transporter there.

Tower of the Sun 4F Corridor of Immortality

Items: White Cannon Plans

Go south and east and you'll spot a korol. If you follow this walkthrough, it'll be Pululum. Appraise the gadget you found in Land of Korol to get Golden Clay Figure. Press the switch and head back up and head to the east. Open the chest for White Cannon Plans. You're free to use the transporter above to map the place, but there will be a gate blocking the way. So go back to the northwest transporter to go back.

Tower of the Sun 3F Corridor of Chaos

Head south and use the transporter on the left that you ignored before.

Tower of the Sun 2F Corridor of Eternity

There's nothing much to do except map the remaining area and use the transporter on the east.

Tower of the Sun 3F Corridor of Chaos

Items: Korol Attire

Open the chest in the center-south for Korol Attire. You can equip either one on Melody or Fiona (probably Fiona). Use the transporter on the left.

Tower of the Sun 4F Corridor of Immortality

Map the place and use the transporter on the right.

Tower of the Sun Hall of Gods

Items: Golden Chalice, Eterna Mace

 

Heal up before continuing. Go left and up to a big room. The party will encounter Carmine. You'll have to fight him for the last time.

Start off with Pad's Bullet Drive, Melody's Magic Shell on everyone, Fiona should cast Angel Powder, Eddie should do Thunder Blade if he can sneak Shining Blade. Melody should cast Dark Ray once she's done and use Super Heal Leaf if necessary.

Upon beating him, he will say his last words about Emperor Terra will bring them down and stuff. Time to level up Eddie's Hyper Attack to Level 5, Fiona's White Gale to Level 7 and Angel Powder to Level 6. Open the chest to your left for a Golden Chalice and to your right for Eterna Mace for Melody. Go up and use the transporter.

Tower of the Sun 6F Corridor of Immortality

Items: Eterna Rod, Eterna Mittens

Go to the left and pick up the two chests containing Eterna Rod (for Fiona) and Eterna Mittens (for Melody). Go back right and up and use the transporter.

Tower of the Sun 7F Corridor of Despair

Press the switch and head back.

Tower of the Sun 6F Corridor of Immortality

Head west and turn the switch and go back to the transporter again.

Tower of the Sun 7F Corridor of Despair

Go up and press the switch. Go back to use the transporter.

Tower of the Sun 6F Corridor of Immortality

Head west to turn the switch back to blue and head east to turn the switch red. Go back to use the transporter.

Go up and press the switch. A gate should open. Go back to use the transporter.

Head west to press the switch to red. Go back to use the transporter.

Tower of the Sun 7F Corridor of Despair

Items: Mysterious Stone, Eterna Blade

Go up and you'll see a save point. Use it to save and restore. There's a chest south of save point containing Mysterious Stone and east of save point containing Eterna Blade for Eddie. If you're not too lazy, since you need the experience. You may want to go back to the Korol to appraise the gadget you just found. It's not that great, it's the same gadget you found before. But just level up around here using co-op attacks to get S Rank battles until you're ready to fight... YOUR LAST BOSS! Level up Eddie's, Pad's and Melody's co-op attacks. Equip all the characters with Eterna equipments. Eddie should wear Moon Ring and Obsidian Arrowhead, Pad should wear Golden Clay Figure and Obsidian Arrowhead, Melody should wear Papyrus Scroll and Giyaman Brooch, Fiona should wear Silver Clay Figure and Solar Rings. When you're ready... use the transport.

 

Chapter 20c - The Final Battle

Tower of the Sun Top Floor Hall of Apocalypse

Dang, we still have to walk. Just walk up and you'll see Commander Fogg with Emperor Terra. Eddie tries to save him and Terra wonders why he's trying to save a traitor who betrayed him. Terra saw the future from the Akashic Records and that is a great despair. He saw humans using science to destroy one another which will cause the end of the earth. He is doing it to save the world from ending.

Start off with Pad's Bullet Drive, Melody's Daemon's Gate, Eddie's Thunder Blade, if he can sneak Hyper Guard, and Fiona's Angel Powder. Next turn, Eddie should use Hyper Attack, everyone should do the same unless they need massive healing, then Fiona can use Soothing Light. Eddie should do Supernova on the next turn while everyone does the same.

Once beating him. He will still not give up and go up the stairs. A black aura comes over him and attacks the group. Commander Fogg runs to the front and protects Eddie and his group. Terra falls down the stairs while the black aura forms into a creature. He is actually Metheus, the true ruler of Asgard and the bearer of the Black Wings, opposed to Fiona the bearer of the White Wings. He wants to take back what belongs to him... which is the earth. Eddie and his group won't let him and battle him.

Pad should use Bullet Drive, Melody should use Daemon's Gate, Fiona should cast Spiritual Light and Eddie should use Thunder Blade if he can sneak Hyper Attack. On the next turn, Fiona should use Angel's Powder which will damage Metheus greatly and heals the whole team, Eddie should do Supernova, Pad and Melody should stick to co-op attacks, which will damage more thanks to Eddie's Hyper Attack and Fiona's Spiritual Light. Fiona should keep using Angel Powder until someone is injured badly. Don't be shy to use Silver Chalice and Mega Heal Leaf. When everyone's stats are back to normal, do Hyper Attack and Spiritual Light again.

After beating Metheus, you'll see the last cut scene. Metheus tries to destroy the world and Fiona tries to stop it. She finally remembers everything and she's very sad. She wishes she was a human like everyone else. After that, Eddie is in a white/yellowish room with Ancient Father speaking to him, asking him if he would sacrifice his life for Fiona. He agrees without a doubt. Pad then appears and says he would die for her too. Melody follows along. Ancient Father decides to give Fiona a part of their lives and revives her. Aw... they're having a romantic moment. Then the tower starts to shake. Without Ancient Father's power, there's nothing holding it anymore. Feel free to map out the remaining part of the area. Go down and use the transporter. Save through the save point and go down to use the transporter. Walk south and the gate is blocked. Shirley comes to the rescue!

The next thing you'll see is Damocles getting out of Asgard. Commander Fogg returns the key to Eddie and he throws it to Asgard and it disappears. Eddie and his party will have their last chat about what a great journey they had and of course Melody whines about not getting a real treasure. Then the Esperansa comes and Gilbert is happy to see his son and his friends succeeded. They fly away... and the credit comes...
