Chapter 13 - To Eastern Lands

Tokyo

Items: Flee Stone, Mega Heal Bottle, Beautiful Gem, Strength Shard, Mysterious Stone

Once you enter, you'll be in Tokyo Airship Dock, you know what that means. To the airship parts owner and purchase Upgrade Plate 06, Samurai Blade, Kurogane, Samurai Spirit and Chain Shield. You probably don't need Classic Cannon if you already have Dragon's Breath and you might not want to get Samurai Blade, Kurogane and Chain Shield for now since you might get a better one soon (unless you didn't acquire the plans throughout your journey, then you should). Talk to the customizer to equip the weapons and armor you just purchased. Go up to enter the town. It looks so beautiful (how I wanna go there so bad XD).

Go to the left side when you see a path and inspect the plants/flowers in front of the house next to the Inn to get a Flee Stone. Head inside that house from the side (left) and inspect the painting on the wall in the center north to get a Mega Heal Bottle.

This is a bit tricky, but go to the building on the left and you'll see a stairs leading to the door, but you can't actually enter it. Go around the north side of the building where you can't see Eddie anymore and go down to enter it. Check the big wooden column in the center to get a Beautiful Gem.

Go to the right all the way until you hit a lamp and inspect the right curtain to get a Strength Shard. Enter the house and check the lamp in the north east (upper right) corner to get a Mysterious Stone. Go out and left, enter the building right in the middle to enter Adventurer's Association. Go up to the second floor and talk to the guy on the south east in front of the bookcase to appraise the two gadgets you just found.

All the shops in Tokyo are located in one building (how convenient) on the north east side. Go there now and buy things that you need in the Item Shop, go up and purchase all the weapons for everyone in the second floor. Go up to the next stairs to purchase 2 Ninja Suits for Eddie and Pad, Plumage for Melody and Fiona, Gale Gloves for everyone and Silver Bracelet for Melody and Fiona. Go out and enter the opposite side (northwest) of the building to learn about something new.

You'll be in Tokyo Temple, Kanbei is an airship parts craftsman. He is able to build airship parts from the plans that you've been getting throughout your journey. They are very expensive though, but oh so worth it. As of right now, if you've been following this walkthrough, there should be 5 items on sale.

Dragon Head - 5000G
Aqua Crystal - 4500G
Dragon's Claw - 4200G
Mariner's Cannon - 4500G
Dragon Scale - 5800G

Buy Dragon Head, Dragon's Claw and Dragon Scale. Go back to the Airship Dock and Carlos will come. He is there for the same reason, trying to find out more about Cabal's secret base. Once he leaves, go to the customizer to equip all the new equipments you just bought. Go out and go southwest from Tokyo to get to Damocles.

Damocles Bridge

Once you're inside, Eddie will give Julius the tablet and they will talk about Cabal's secret base. Carlos will communicate with Julius saying he found the base, it's located in the west of Tokyo, Mt. Fuji. According to Julius, Gilbert is being held captive in Mt. Fuji Base. Magi comes and decides to join the group. Once you're all set, speak to Julius and tell him you're ready. You'll see a cut scene. [Why is Fiona smiling when they're about to crash? creepy... XD]

Chapter 13b - The Battle at the Mt. Fuji Base

Mt. Fuji Base

Enemies: Devil Statue, Remains, Flare Elemental, Galacia, Cabal Combatant, High Gear, King Enma, Machine Cannon, Float Ball

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Storage

Items: Golden Headband

You'll be inside the base and you won't be able to get out. Go up and save. Magi will help a lot in battle. She heals everyone in one turn. Open the chest on the left of the save point, Golden Headband for Eddie. Go up to another room.

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Central Passage

You'll notice there are two security machines. Eddie doesn't want to fight them, so we'll have to do everything the hard way. Go to the right and check the elevator. Eddie will mention about Operation Room.

Keep going to the right and then cross the bridge. Go to the center to go down the ladder (don't ask me how Magi goes down XD).

Mt. Fuji Base 3B Central Hall

Items: Heavy Blade Plans, Old Clock

Go down and you'll see a huge machine. A guy will appear. His name is Kakyo and Magi already foresaw him coming. Apparently he knows her and exposes that she used to work in the Cabal, but quit later on. He suddenly disappears and Melody tries to find a secret door, but hurts herself in the process. Magi explains that Kakyo (Kakyo the Impenetrable) has the ability to move through any kind of material. Once everyone's done talking. Open the chest on the left for Heavy Blade Plans and the right for Old Clock. Go back up the ladder.

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Central Passage

You'll notice that the security machines change locations. Go to the right where the security machine was before meeting Kakyo and go down the ladder.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Central Passage

Items: Flame Vest

Go to the right and down and open the chest for Flame Vest. Equip it to Pad. Keep going to the left and up the stairs.

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Central Passage

You'll be back in the central passage, except on the other side. Go up and down the stairs (not ladder).

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Central Passage

Go to the right and down the ladder.

Mt. Fuji Base 2B Passage

Go up and right.

Mt. Fuji Base Cell

Items: Apple Hammer

Go to the right and you'll notice the most right cell door is broken. Go inside the broken door cell for an Apple Hammer. Equip it to Melody. Get out of the cell.

Mt. Fuji Base 2B Passage

Head left and then down to another room.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Passage

Go right and down and climb the ladder up.

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Central Passage

Go down the stairs.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Passage

Go down and use the stairs to go back up again.

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Central Passage

Go right through the bridge. Now would be a good time to heal, if you need it. Just go down and enter the room that you first came into and use the Save Point. Level up Eddie's Dividing Heaven to Level 5 to get Demonic Blade and Pad's Heavy Shot to Level 4. When you're done, go back up and to the center of the room. Use the ladder on the right again to go down.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Central Passage

Go up and left and take the second stairs leading down.

Mt. Fuji Base 2B Central Passage

Go through the door.

Mt. Fuji Base 2B Storage

Items: Battle Staff

You'll see a korol, use its assistance if necessary. Go to the right and open the chest for Battle Staff. Equip it to Fiona. Travel back out and up the stairs and use the stairs that goes up.

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Central Passage

Go to the right and use the ladder to go down.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Passage

Go up a bit and to the left (you'll notice the way on the map in the bottom/touch screen).

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Test Chamber

Items: Chain Cloak

Go to the left and open the chest for Chain Cloak. Equip it on Melody. Go back out.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Passage

Go up and left and then up again and enter the room.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Engine Room

Go to the right, ignoring the stairs going down. Instead go through the door on the right.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Operation Room

Items: Mysterious Stone

Upon entering, 3 Cabal Combatants will be there and you'll have to fight them. I think they are even weaker than the Cabal Combatants you've been fighting. Since I killed them all with just one hit of Melody's Flanmoa XD. Once you beat them, Magi will check the computer and open the volcanic crater gate which allows Damocles to enter. Suddenly, there's an alarm and apparently the Cabal has been using energy from the volcano to build a giant weapon. Go to the bottom right of the room to get a Mysterious Stone. Get out of the room and use the stairs to go down.

Mt. Fuji Base 2B Engine Room

Items: Dragonhead

Go down and to the right below the stairs to open a chest containing Dragonhead. Equip it to Pad (it's for his weapon, just in case you don't know). Go to the left and down.

Mt. Fuji Base 2B Passage

Go to the right and down and use the ladder to go back up.

Mt. Fuji Base 1B Central Passage

Go to the left and use the stairs to go up.

Mt. Fuji Base 1F Central Passage

Go down and pass the bridge and to the other side and go down to examine the elevator that you first examined when you came here. Use the elevator to go down.

Mt. Fuji Base Bottom Floor Volcanic Bomb

You'll see a Save Point right away, so use it to recover and save. Approach the center of the room. Kakyo will appear and you'll have to fight him.

On the first turn, just have everyone attack with their best shot; Fiona - Lumiera, Pad - Random Shot, Melody - Highest Level Skill (like Flanma), Eddie - Combo Attack. When he uses his Ogre's Defense, don't bother to attack him because it doesn't work. This will last 3 turns. This is when you should start raising status, Eddie - Overdrive or Hyper Attack, Melody should use items to heal or defend, Fiona - Any skill except Lumiera, Pad - Hyper Speed. Once he's defense is over, start using lethal skills like Combo Attack, Random Shot, Flanma. Fiona can use White Gale to give a turn to Eddie for a faster battle.

You'll see a big cut scene where Gilbert comes and self destructs the place again. Everything is shaking and about to die until Magi uses her supernatural power to stop time. Damocles comes and saves the day. You'll be transported back to Damocles Bridge.

Damocles Bridge

Julius will offer Gilbert to join the Royal Exploration Agency, but he refuses. Then he worries about going home to his wife and Pad makes fun of him XD. Once you have control, talk to everyone and you'll be back in London again. He will join the party!

Chapter 13c - Father and Son Reunited

London

Go to the stores next to you to check on the new equipments. Buy Murakumo Sword, Samurai Suit, Samurai Gauntlet for Eddie, Izanami's Cloak for Melody, and Magic Tiara for Fiona. Go back to Eddie's house. And like you'd expect it, Margaret is getting all mad at Gilbert. Pad and Melody follows along too XD. Evans will tell you to go to the Airship Dock tomorrow. For now, go to the East Corridor to talk to Melody. Then go to the guest room in the northeast door to talk to Pad. Go to the balcony to talk to Fiona. Last destination would be Gilbert's Room in the West Corridor. Talk to Margaret and then Gilbert. Eddie can now the skill "Supernova"! It's a co-op skill. Go back to the living room and everyone will rest.
